Yesterday (20th September 2021) Mum and Dad's ashes were interred together in the Garden of Remembrance at St Andrew's Church in Cheddar. This was Dad's wish, since that is the church they were married in on 23 August 1947. We are grateful to the Reverend Stuart Burns for officiating. It was a hot sunny day and the churchyard looked beautiful - I have added a couple of photos to the Gallery on this page.
Please also feel free to look at the tribute page for Dad, who passed away on 31 May 2021 - you will find it here: https://michaelwolfe-murphy.muchloved.com/

Our Mother Kept A Garden – Anon Our Mother kept a garden. a garden of the heart; She planted all the good things that gave our lives their start. She turned us to the sunshine and encouraged us to dream: Fostering and nurturing the seeds of self-esteem. And when the winds and rains came she protected us enough. But not too much, she knew we'd need to stand up strong and tough. Her constant good example always taught us right from wrong; Markers for our pathways to last our whole lives long. We are our Mother's garden. We are her legacy. And we hope today she feels the love reflecting from we three.
Thank you for setting up this memorial to Vivien. We hope that you find it a positive experience developing the site and that it becomes a place of comfort and inspiration for you to visit whenever you want or need to.
I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
